Courtney Erin salon

Meet the Team

Hi, my name is Courtney. I have been the Director of Courtney Erin since June 2004, when I took over from my old boss when I was just 21! I started working in the Salon 6 years prior to this when I was a young, shy girl still at school and desperate to become a hairdresser so completed an NVQ Level 1 in Hairdressing. I then left school and started working in the Salon full time training in NVQ Level 2, once completed I went on to Level 3 and then finally a D32/33 Teacher/ Assessor Qualification.

I then started teaching and assessing Hairdressing in the salon which I still do today, so all my staff are trained to my high standards. As well as running the salon I am also a full time stylist & Salon Director.

I enjoy and specialise in all aspects of Hairdressing, especially Racoon Hair Extensions.

People who know me call me a workaholic but I believe if you want something in life you have to work for it and believe that I run a successful business because of this.

I love holidays but find it hard to escape the Salon as often as I’d like to. At weekends I love to go out and Party the night away and enjoy yoga, fashion and shopping.

I also love changing my hair so don’t be surprised if you don’t recognise me the next time you see me X

Creative Designer

Hi, my name is Anerleigh but you can call me Leigh or Aley for short as I know sometimes my name can be hard to remember!!! I was born on the 15th December 1989, and I am a Sagittarius!!!

I have been working at Courtney Erin from the age of 15 helping out as an assistant to the stylists. I decided to start full time in 2011 where I started my training and gained my NVQ Level 2 qualification. I love being creative and really enjoy styling hair, especially putting hair up; which is what got me in to hairdressing in the first place.

Over the past few years I have fulfilled my dream of becoming a primary school teacher working full time in a local school, where I love to enthuse and engage the children with their learning. Due to this, I am only in the salon part-time.

I really enjoy spending time with my friends, and also playing netball. However my real passion is singing!! I attended the BRIT School for Performing Arts for four years and studied Musical Theatre alongside my academic subjects. Those were the best days of my life so far!!!

I am very approachable and friendly person and I love to have a good old chat!!! So I look forward to having a conversation with you in the future!!!!

Hi, my name is Chloe

Hairdressing was something that I wanted to do from a young age. I started working in a salon when I was 14 as a Saturday girl and loved every minute of it! You can see how, just by getting your hair done can make someone feel good about themselves so when I left school at 16 I knew that I wanted to be a Hairdresser. I went to college to do my NVQ level 2&3 and I was a qualified hairdresser by the time I was 17! I later went on to do a Ombre and balayage course to learn all the up-to-date techniques.

In my spare time, I love to spend it with my family and on the weekend I love going to the pub as it gives me a chance to meet up with friends and let my hair down after a long and busy week at work. I'm a very hard worker as I know you have to work for the things in life. When I was 12, I used to work at my local stables for nearly 2 years on the weekends so getting my hands dirty comes natural to me. I love shopping and my friends like to call me a shopaholic. I can be quite shy at first until you get to know me.

One thing in life that I have always loved to do is travel and see the world and all the beautiful and wonderful places out there.

I love making people feel good about themselves when they walk out of the salon. Look forward to meeting you and to be a friendly face when you come to Courtney Erin.

Chloe Nicole

Chloe Nicole

Hi, my name is Chloe but am known as Chloe-Nicole here at Courtney Erin. I first started hairdressing as a Saturday girl when I was just 15! I was a fun bubbly person at school and left at 16 to pursue a career in hairdressing, as it was something I was interested in from a young age being inspired from my auntie. I loved leaving her salon after having my hair done and the feeling it gave me. It was at college I obtained my NVQ Level 2 and 3 at just 18!

I have experience working in salons and have been trained to a very high standard. I enjoy and specialise in all aspects of Hairdressing, but my passions lie in colouring and a good old curly blowdry!

In my spare time, I love to spend it with my family and friends, I enjoy going to a good old musical, I also love to sing and dance, go out to eat and a good boogie too, I attended a performing arts school and also sung in competitions which I really enjoyed, I also like walking my dog and have a bad shopping addiction (which is a bit of an issue!).

All the people who know me will describe be as an easy going chatterbox who can chat for England, but I do believe if you want something in life it has to be earned through hard work and that is a lot easier when you enjoy what you do everyday!

Looking forward to meeting and chatting to new clients and making them feel like a new person when they leave the salon after having their hair done.

Hairdresser & Make Up Artist

I started at Courtney Erin in October 2017 when I was 15, Starting off as a Saturday girl and occasionally helping late evenings. My job started as helping the stylists. That’s when I fell in love with the hairdressers and knew I wanted to become a professional. So I started my full time level 2 apprenticeship in July 2018.

I am now a qualifying hairdresser and make up artist for the salon! I love being creative and different, which are two things you see a lot of in the hair industry. My aims in the hairdressing industry are to follow Courtney’s footsteps. I would like to complete my level 3 course then once I gain enough experience, Eventually I’d like to open my own salon and also teach younger students hairdressing!

Outside of the salon I spend lots of time with my partner, friends and family. I love trying new restaurants, going to the gym most evenings and watching plenty of Hair and make up videos to educate myself.

making people happy and seeing smiles makes me feel good. I’m a very confident and positive person, meaning I find it very easy to get along with everyone! Getting to know every client, means a lot to me as I always want clients to walk into the salon feeling as comfortable as possible! Since starting as a junior I’ve mastered making a nice cup of tea, so enjoy a nice hot beverage when you come in!

I look forward to meeting every client, new and old and can’t wait to be on salon floor full time like the other girls!

Hi my name is Alice and I am the new apprentice at Courtney Erin!

I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting and chatting to clients and making them beverages whilst working and so far I have learnt shampooing and a range of blow dries, so I look forward to adding the finishing touches to your hair and making you feel fab before you leave the salon.

Having always been into hair, makeup and fashion from a young age, hairdressing seemed the perfect career choice, so at 16 I left school to get started so I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

In my spare time I enjoy listening and writing music, as I am a passionate singer, songwriter and guitarist and aspire to make it as an artist. I have always enjoyed musical theatre as well, particularly as a dancer, which I suppose is where I get the bud for hair and makeup from.

As a hairdresser, I hope to complete my NVQ L2 which I am currently training for and look forward to doing cuts and colouring on you hair in the future, whilst having a good old chat of course!

Beautician & Make up Artist

Hi, I am Olivia, I have always had an interest in make up since a very young age. I started off at college studying towards a business degree before changing my pathway and completing a level 2 and 3 in Media Make Up. I also qualified in a variety of different types of lashes and hair extensions. I am also qualified in waxing, tinting, gel nails and acrylics. My mum does the massage, crystal healing and Bach flower remedies for my clients if they require them.

I love to transform people to boost their confidence so really enjoy giving someone hair extensions for the first time or giving them a full make over, likewise giving someone a set of full lashes for the first time can make an amazing difference to someone’s self-confidence.

Since my nan passed away in May 2018 of cancer, I offer free make overs/make up lessons to cancer patients a couple of times a year so that they too can have a special treat and feel good about themselves.

I love seeing the world so really do enjoy and appreciate my holidays. I love animals and have a couple of dogs, a cat and pond and marine fish at home.

In my spare time I try to exercise and love to watch TV shows such as Love Island and the Greatest Dancer.

I do hope to see you in my gorgeous beauty room soon.
